Toolmaking runs in the family. Orville (pictured on the far left), the grandfather to two of our founders, started a drill bit company back in the 60s. He found so much success that the family is involved with several drill bit and drilling companies to this day. Grandpa’s work had such an influence on us that we felt it was only fitting we tip our hat to the old man who started it all.

But too many of our competitors are content to stay in the past. They sell you new tools created from antique designs. Or they’re content to sell you a generic one-size-fits-all tool made for multiple industries with a severe drop-off in quality and efficiency. That’s where the technologies aspect of our name comes in. We’re engineers who don’t understand why anyone should be expected to drill with obsolete designs or tooling made for a different industry. Instead, we develop application-specific tools with cutting-edge designs so you get increased production.

We have over 85 years of combined experience in drill bits, HDD, and utility installation. We’ve all been at it a while, seen a lot, and have enjoyed success at various major tool manufacturers.
